Concord Sports is a ministry of First Baptist Concord that furthers our church’s mission through youth sports. We aim to inspire young athletes to love Jesus, learn the value of hard work, and have fun while playing sports.
For years, Concord Sports has served Farragut and West Knoxville through youth sports leagues. We currently offer Flag Football in the fall, Basketball in the winter, and Soccer in the spring. We believe the lessons learned in our leagues help young athletes grow not only in their sport but also as individuals in their communities—and, most importantly, deepen their understanding of Jesus Christ.

Concord Sports Flag Football is a developmental league for boys and girls ages 4–11 that emphasizes teamwork, skill development, healthy competition, and faith in Jesus. It’s a great opportunity for both beginners and athletes looking to grow in their fundamentals in a fun, Christ-centered environment.
Ages: 4-11
Divisions: Age-based divisions (COED possible in younger groups based on registration)
Skill Levels: All welcome—beginners to experienced players
Focus: Fundamentals, fun, and faith
Season: 9 weeks | August 5 - October 4
Practices: Tuesday or Thursday Evenings - Day and time will be selected by the coaches
Games: Saturdays - First game is August 23rd
Game Format: We’ll alternate between 2 games one week and 1 game the next, giving our kids more opportunities to play and grow!
End of Season Tournament: September 29 - October 4
Cost: $130, Late registration is $160
Misc Coach/Volunteer Information: Each team must have a head coach present for all games and practices. Parents and assistant coaches are encouraged to particpate. All coaches and volunteers must register by August 5th. Background checks and training are required.

Concord Sports Cheer is a high-energy, Christ-centered cheerleading program that runs alongside our Fall Flag Football League. This program focuses on cheer fundamentals, team spirit, and spiritual growth through weekly devotionals and team huddles.
Ages: Girls in K - 3rd Grade
Cheer Clinic Week: August 4–8 (specific times set by Coach Rachel)
Weekly Practices: Concord Chapel | Thursdays from 5:30–6:30 PM
Coach Rachel may adjust to 6:30–7:30 PM for older participants if needed.
Game Days: Saturdays - First game is August 23rd
Cheerleaders will perform during Concord Sports Flag Football games
