Weekday Classes

Concord Disciple Maker

What does a healthy disciple making culture look like in a local church? What does it look like to be a Disciple of Jesus Christ? What does God desire for me? What does God command of me? These are just a few of the questions we will explore through this study.

Concord Disciple Maker teaches and observes the core functions of a disciple of Jesus Christ. The purpose of Concord Disciple Maker is to establish foundational teaching and practices in the lives of believers that propel them towards obedience in their walk with Jesus.

It’s a group of men that want truthful, real answers to questions like: How can I be a good father?  Why do I seem to be so out of balance all the time?   Why don’t I like church?  Do I have what it takes to lead my family?  How did my childhood experiences affect my manhood?  Am I really a man?  Can a man really make a difference?  Was Jesus a real man?  Is God my real Father? And more.

Wednesdays | 6:30 - 8:00 pm | February 9th - June 8th | Location: Chapel

He's Where The Joy Is by Tara Leigh Cobble

It’s hard to know a God we don’t understand, and it’s hard to love a God we don’t know.
But our God wants to be known and loved, and He’s told us a lot about Himself in the pages of His Word.
Join Tara-Leigh Cobble in this 7-session study as she breaks down the intimidating doctrine of the Trinity. You’ll discover a beautiful, foundational view of our Triune God that will transform how you relate to Him. Matchless by Angie Smith

Who is Jesus? Why did He come to earth? How can I know Him?
We live in a world where there’s a lot of confusion about Jesus. Too often people want to shape Him and His message to fit their personal needs or agendas. So how can we know the truth?

Through her signature wit and accessible style, Angie unpacks Scripture in a way that’s easy to understand, regardless of how long you’ve been studying the Bible (a great option for new believers!). 1 Peter by Jen Wilken

Our inheritance through Christ is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading. In 1 Peter, a man of faith and flaws and eyewitness to the life of Christ challenges us to look beyond our current circumstances to a future inheritance. He shares his concerns on big picture issues for the early church, describes believers’ true identity in Christ, and ultimately helps readers discover what it means to experience the Living Hope they have in Christ. Key themes of humility, submission, and identity in Christ guide the study of 1 Peter as participants are challenged to read the book in its entirety each week. Teaching videos are key to the understanding of this study. (9 sessions)
