Seascape Resort, 112 Seascape Drive, Destin, FL 32550

We will be staying in condos. Each unit has 3-4 beds plus a pull out couch. There will be 8-10 people in a room. There will be at least one sponsor in each room. Our goal is to put students   with their friends and we are working hard to make sure this happens. Students are welcome to bring food and snacks as each condo has a full kitchen.

During the majority of camp students spend time with their roommates and their friends. For our afternoon Rec. time and morning worship we divide students into color teams they compete on. Students will be paired with at least one friend on their Rec. team.

During camp students will be a part of two groups: Their room and rec team. They will spend the majority of camp with their room group and other friends. They will be with their rec team during recreation and morning worship. When students register for camp they are asked for one person they would like to room with. We will make sure they are in a room with that person. Rec teams are mixed gender and grade.

We will be traveling with a licensed nurse who will handle medical situations. We also require all students to check in all medications (prescription and non-prescription) to our staff for safety.

Students will be allowed to bring their phones with them to Beach Week. However we will ask students to not bring their phones to worship, devos or Rec. Our staff will have their phones on at all times.

Beach Week is organized, panned and hosted by First Baptist Concord and Broadmoor Baptist in Shreveport, Louisiana. We are two like minded churches who come together so that we can create a better camp experience. Broadmoor is a known church and all of their staff and leaders participate in a similar screening process to First Baptist Concord’s.
