We are excited to host a two day Parenting Conference at Concord that will focus on equipping and resourcing parents of preschoolers to teenagers to raise Biblical families in the 865 community. In this conference we have amazing speakers who will cover topics such as discipline, being a mom, being a dad, grandparents raising grandchildren, technology, raising teens, talking with your kids about sex, and much, much more.

Registration Information

Registration is $30 per person.

Childcare is offered for both sessions and is per family, regardless of number of children.

Friday evening session $15 and Saturday morning session $20.

Brian Seagraves

Brian Seagraves is the author of Gender: A Conversation Guide for Parents and Pastors and Unapologetic: A Guide for Defending Your Christian Convictions. He earned an MDiv from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Patti, have two young girls and live in Tallahassee, FL.


Dr. Josh Straub

Josh is most renowned for his role as a husband and dad. He is also a recovering human, an ongoing journey that includes therapy, coaching, a tight-knit faith community, and staying fit. On stage, Josh is a speaker, author, marriage and leadership coach, and a podcast and TV cohost. He and his wife, Christi, lead Famous at Home, a company equipping leaders and corporations in emotional intelligence and healthy family systems. Josh is also a Fellow of the Townsend Institute for Leadership and Counseling.

Josh most enjoys coaching leaders to be famous at home so they can thrive on their stage. He also speaks regularly for Joint Special Operations Command and serves military families across the country. Josh is author/ coauthor of seven books including Famous at Home: 7 Decisions to Put Your Family Center Stage in a World Competing For Your Time, Attention, and Identity. He and his wife, Christi, host the Famous at Home podcast and co-wrote two children's books, What Am I Feeling? and What Do I Do With Worry? to help parents foster emotional awareness in kids.


Jonathan Holmes

Jonathan Holmes is the Founder and Executive Director of Fieldstone Counseling. He also serves as the Pastor of Counseling for Parkside Church Bainbridge and Green. Jonathan graduated from The Master’s University with degrees in Biblical Counseling and History and his MA from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He is the author of The Company We Keep and Counsel for Couples and the books, Rescue Skills & Rescue Plan.

Jonathan has written for a number of sites and organizations including Christianity Today, The Gospel Coalition, Biblical Counseling Coalition, the ERLC, and the Journal for Biblical Counseling. Jonathan serves on the Board of Directors for CCEF (Christian Counseling Educational Foundation) and the Council Board for the BCC (Biblical Counseling Coalition). He is a frequent speaker at conferences and retreats. He and his wife, Jennifer, have four daughters, Ava, Riley, Ruby, and Emma.

Nellie is a Family Life & Leadership Coach who focuses on helping Christian parents and their teen daughters go from HOPING they are doing all the “right things”, feeling lost and just surviving teen life to KNOWING they are doing the right things for their unique child and getting her set on a solid path to establishing her personal authority, owning her responsibilities and living in her joy so that she has a firm foundation to build the rest of her life on where she trusts herself, stays aligned in her values and trades chasing worth for standing in her confidence every day in order to face anything and become the leader of her own life.

She is a wife and mom to 4 teen daughters, author, speaker, podcaster, retired homeschooling parent and adventure chaser. She has a degree in biology and psychology, years of leadership training and a diverse behavior background from humpback whales in the South Pacific to teens and parents in homes across the world. She believes in a life of intention, making dreams and goals realities and knows that the best way to change the world is through one living room at a time!

You can find these daily and weekly videos on YouTube, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and many other social media platforms.  Russ also co-authored Pillars of Success with Pat Summit and Alexander Haig, Jr.

Russ is a businessman, author, and speaker.  However, what he’s most proud of is being married to his high school sweetheart, Tracy, for 33 years after having dated for 5 years. Russ will share with you emphatically that he and Tracy, are more crazy about each other now than their first year of marriage. They have four children of whom three are through college as well as working in their careers and his youngest son is in his first year of college. Russ enjoys time with his family that could include hiking, running, biking, traveling, four wheeling, and hanging out watching movies while enjoying Cheezits and Peanut Butter M&M’s.
